Wet cupping, also known as Hijama, is a traditional medical practice that involves making small incisions on the skin and using cups to draw out a small quantity of blood. This technique is believed to help remove harmful substances from the body, alleviate pain, and promote healing.

Hijmah/Wet Cupping

WET CUPPING:

Wet cupping is done by the same procedure as dry cupping but small superfical lacerations are made on the skin surface thus allowing to be removed.This helps the body to heal and allows detoxification thereby strengthening the bodies immune system.

 DRY CUPPING:

Dry cupping is done by applying suction cups in points of pain or treatment points to draw toxins to a localised area.The cups are either left on the area for a period of time or gently massaged to provide relief of pain.No lacerations are made.
